Hello, I'm Mahesika Tennakoon,
An educator passionate about inspiring and guiding early childhood educators on their journey to providing the best education for young learners. With over 35 years of experience in the field, I've had the privilege of conducting workshops in Vietnam and Panama. I've also served as the head lecturer for a Montessori teacher training college.
My path into early childhood education began with a deep-seated love for working with children. When I discovered the Montessori method, I realized it was the perfect approach to nurturing young minds. I founded Elsie’s Learning Well in 2023 to play my role in revolutionizing early childhood education.
I started this business to address the needs of educators and parents seeking fresh ideas and innovative teaching methods. I've encountered countless teachers looking to break free from the confines of traditional teaching and parents concerned about their children's struggles with language, reading, and writing in public schools. My aim is to motivate and guide them in providing the best possible tools and techniques for budding minds. I also support parents by giving them ideas and strategies to assist their children in their learning journey.
